Women in Mining and Resources Mongolia (WMRM) is a not-for-profit, non-government organization founded in 2016 with a mission to promote and guide women in the mining sector, their role and advancement in the industry, while raising awareness of the sector as a fulfilling career choice for women.
We envision building an inclusive community of men and women, who are dedicated to supporting women’s excellence in the industry and promote the roles of women in the mining industry and the sector as a great career choice for women.

The incumbent will be exposed to leadership, team work, strategy development and project management skills while expanding one's networking group and becoming an active member of a vibrant and supportive community that represents the high standard of talent women bring to the mining industry
The opportunity:
We are looking to hire Executive Board members (no specific gender) for two year period. Candidates with Mine operations, Finance, Media and Communications or Human resources and Support services will be preferred.
The purpose of the role is to provide an expertise support to WMRM strategy and initiatives in order to deliver the organization's mission, vision and values.
The general roles requirements are:
-Actively engage WMRM members and manage membership registration/records
-Develop e-newsletter and annual report for members and partners
-Manage the order and distribution of WMRM pink PPE shirt
-Take active part in developing the WMRM short to medium term strategy
-Develop and support the implementation of the WMRM initiatives
-Commitment to consistently attend the fortnightly WMRM Executive Board meeting
-Manage WMRM communications through digital media channels
-Be the ambassador for WMRM mission and be the active promoter
-Manage initiatives with rigor and results and support peer's initiatives as requested
-Utilize own network in supporting WMRM initiatives in line with WMRM values
-Develop and implement succession and transition plan for this role
What you will need for this role:
-Meet the background and role base requirements above
-At least 3 years of experience working in mining industry
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
-Excellent organization and time management skills
-Ability to contribute in active and initiative manner to WMRM strategy & initiatives
-Commitment for the NGO
-Fluency in English language preferred - written & oral
